ABOUT US

Woodvale Primary School is located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. In 2011, the school is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Principal, John Latham, is supported by deputies Judy Davis and Frank Papasergio.

Educational programmes at the school for 2011 will continue to focus on the implementation of the Curriculum Framework and Outcomes/Standards Framework. To achieve this the school will operate a five-stream specialist programme; Languages (Japanese), Music, Drama, Visual Arts and Physical Education. Woodvale is currently operating 19 classes from K-7.

THANK YOU SUPA IGA... Woodvale

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Woodvale Supa IGA for their generous donation of $855.00.  Angelo and Lee, owners of the store, presented the cheque to P & C Treasurer, Rachael Edwards at a recent school assembly. Parents can be part of the ongoing promotion by mentioning the school after making a purchase at the checkout.

Woodvale Primary School is now an Independent Public School. This new venture will allow for greater flexibility in a number of key areas, including educational programmes, budget management and staff recruitment. Year 7 students, for example, now attend Woodvale Secondary College for one day a week. In addition to the many educational benefits, this will also provide a seamless transition to high school in 2012. Further information on Independent Public Schools can be accessed on the adjacent links column.

Woodvale student, Jack Zuvich, tries his luck at the Woodvale Fair. An estimated 5000 people attended.
