About Us

Woodvale Primary School is located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. In 2007, the school celebrated its 20th anniversary.  Principal, Gavin Power is supported by deputies Judy Davis and Frank Papasergio. Educational programmes at the school for 2009  will continue to focus on the implementation of the Curriculum Framework and Outcomes/Standards Framework. To achieve this the school will operate a five-stream specialist programme; Languages (Japanese), Music, Information Technology, Visual Arts and Physical Education. Woodvale is currently operating 17 classes from K-7.

"When your child enters the Woodvale Primary School Community they will embark on one of the most important phases in their life and we want the experience to be memorable, enjoyable and rewarding for your child and you.

The primary school years of education lay the foundation for life-long learning and at Woodvale that will be nurtured in a positive and caring learning environment, which is committed to excellence, equity, relevance and participation. We acknowledge the individual while recognising and promoting teamwork and leadership through the provision of a variety of academic, cultural, social and sporting opportunities. Woodvale Primary School has a tradition of high parental involvement and I look forward to working together with you to provide all children with a quality education."  Gavin Power (Principal)
