Woodvale Primary School promotes the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and encourages participation by providing engaging and enjoyable physical education lessons from Kindy to Year 6.
Our school has a successful track record winning 18 of the past 24 interschool Athletics Carnivals.
Olympians, Tina Morgan (Taekwondo) and Casey Dellacqua (Tennis) are both graduates of Woodvale Primary School and in 2011, Rohan Bewick became the first Woodvale graduate to play football in the AFL.
Throughout the year, representative teams participate in a variety of events/competitions and all students complete an in-term swimming program. Students are also fortunate enough to participate in a variety of clinics run by expert coaches from local sporting clubs thanks to the Sporting Schools program.
