The School Board is a governing body dedicated to helping the school achieve the best educational experience and outcomes for our students.

The School Board has several key governance roles including:

• Taking part in the development of the school's general directions, financial planning, evaluating the school's performance, formulating codes of conduct, and taking part in selection of staff with approval of the Director of Education;
• Approving charges, costs, contributions, personal items lists and sponsorship agreements;
• Determining a dress code in consultation with the community;
• Providing advice to the principal on general policy regarding instruction involving religious, spiritual or moral values to students;
• Promoting the school in the community.

The School Board consists of staff and parent representatives, with the majority being parents. We are also able to co-opt members of the local business and community if their skills or experience would benefit the Board. The School Board meets twice termly on Monday's at 6.30pm.
